Wolf Lake Trail Run/Walk-18th Annual
Join us on Sunday, September 24th at Richard Bong State Recreation Area for a 5K or 10K run/hike or 1 mile walk. 100% of the proceeds remain with the BNA—the all-volunteer non-profit organization that supports the park.
The event will begin and end at the Beach at Richard Bong State Recreation Area. Race Day Registration and packet is 8-9:15am. The run begins promptly at 9:30am, with walkers leaving immediately after. The routes are primarily flat with scattered hills. Strollers are not recommended, dogs are not allowed at the beach or in picnic areas. Early registration deadline is September 11th and the cost is $30/adult and $18 for youth 14 and younger. All pre-registrants are guaranteed to receive a long-sleeved t-shirt. Race day registration is $35/adult, youth remain $18. Limited t-shirts available. Free park entrance for the day!
Expect traditional home-made bakery provided by the BNA volunteers and additionally this year chili will be served. Spectators are welcome to enjoy the food and beverages for $4.00 each. Raffle for all registered walkers to win a pottery crock similar to the runner’s mugs. Take a chance on winning hand crafted quilts, hand crafted items, gift certificates or several other items and baskets full of goodies! Raffle tickets $1 each.
Division awards to the top three in each age category and overall winners for Male and Female.
