International Brainteaser Month: January 2018
Start the year out right and celebrate “thinking fun” all month long, because it is International Brainteaser Month. Many forms of brainteaser puzzles can be attempted at the unique hands-on Logic Puzzle Museum in Burlington.
Extra challenges this month include vintage hidden picture puzzles, visual puzzles, and riddles along with 60 hands-on logic and mechanical puzzles to try. The mechanical styles include strategy, wire, jumping, matching, take-aparts, and sliding puzzles. There are no jigsaw puzzles.
Visitors also may view the unique collection of antique and vintage items exhibited and make a puzzle to keep.
Tickets must be ordered ahead because space is limited. Tickets are $10 each, the museum is for adults and families, ages 5-105. For extra fun there are two visual puzzles in the building’s display window for anyone to try anytime, without admission.
The non-profit, educational Logic Puzzle Museum is at 533 Milwaukee Avenue, Burlington, WI Parking is free.
