Fun Science Challenges for Families at Top Museum Visit
“Offbeat Museums” book features the Spinning Top & Yo-Yo Museum because it is much more than an exhibit! It is known worldwide for it’s unique, 4-part program and tour with lots of hands-on fun.
Families and groups are invited to the September 2019 tour/programs.
Fun, science, physics, history, surprises, tops and action games to try; make it fun for adults, teens and children, ages 4 and older.
Visitors may try spinning tops, optical illusions, action games, the I Spy Hunt and several physics challenges. One top even defies physics. A prize is given to the person who can keep a selected top going the longest, too.
The fun and fast tour/program includes
---40 different hands-on tops and optical illusions to spin plus challenges to try!
---the amazing exhibit of 2,000 antique & modern tops, yo-yos, gyroscopes!
---videos and an I Spy Hunt
---fun physics challenges
---plus a live show by the top collector and the Tops Expert from an MGM !
The informal show is filled with a range of unusual things to see like antique and rare tops, modern spinners, a musical top, classic yo-yo tricks, and a re-enactment of a top scene from the movie My Summer Story. The MGM movie is a sequel to the famous A Christmas Story.
Following the program, the gift shop is open with 400 kinds of spinning tops, yo-yos and gyroscopes, hands-on logic & brain puzzles, books and other good things for both adults and kids.

Large groups of 35-50 may book other times as well in September 2019. The museum is at 533 Milwaukee Avenue, downtown historic Burlington, Wisconsin.
Visitors should always call ahead, as space is limited. Admission is $15/person. The unique museum is for adults, families and kids, with a minimum age of 4.
