In partnership with Thrivent’s Generosity Day, the United Way of Racine County has added some Day of Caring volunteer opportunities in the Burlington Area. We need 10 volunteers at each location.  Gather a group of co-workers, friends or family together and join us!

Here are the details for our Burlington volunteers opportunity:

Burlington Flood Clean-Up

What you will do:  Cleanup of weeds, debris, and garbage in down town area and surrounding parks. 

Where:  Meet at the Thrivent office, 400 N. Pine Street

When:  September 9, 2017, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Freezer Meal Packing

What you will do:  Meals will be packed and frozen for families in need in Burlington.

Where:  Cross Lutheran Church   126 Chapel Terrace

When:  September 9, 2017, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.


Agency:  Three Harbors Council, Boy Scouts of America

What you will do:  Service projects at camp Oh Da Ko Ta will include painting, site and facilities cleanup (no bathroom cleanup), minor construction (depending on age/qualifications).

Where:  3363 Dyer Lake Rd. Burlington, WI 53105

When:  September 9, 2017, 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
