Burlington Genealogical Society in cooperation with Walworth County Genealogical Society is sponsoring a Family History Fair from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Burlington High School Commons, 400 McCanna Parkway, Burlington, WI.  Registration and vendor browsin is at 9:00 a.m. Mike Karsen will present two workshops on Creating Your Family History 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.  In addition to the workshops there will be vendors, food and a silent auction. Admission is $5 for adults that includes 5 tickets for the silent auction. Children may attend for free. Wolf Lake Run/Hike (3.8 miles). Funds raised are earmarked for the wildlife refuge project and will benefit the park and its wildlife and visitors. Registration and packet pick-up starts at 8:30am and ends at 9:30am . The run begins at 10:00am , with hikers leaving immediately after. The course around Wolf Lake is a hiking trail and is primarily flat with scattered hills. Strollers are not recommended, dogs are not allowed at the Beach. Pre-registration deadline is September 8th and will guarantee participants a beautiful long-sleeved T-shirt designed by a local artist. A limited number of shirts designed will be available on race day but only while supplies last. Pre-registration fee is $18.00 per person, $20 race day.
